Na ultima sexta feira (20), a Ariana foi plea primeira vez á arena “Madison Square Garden“ em Nova York. No dia seguinte o jornal The New York Times publicou uma noticia a dar elogios ao espetaculo da Ariana. O texto esta em brasileiro:
"A primeira vez que Ariana Grande chorou sexta à noite no Madison Square Garden foi um pouco antes da metade de seu show.
Foi só depois que ela cantou “The Way”, seu animado single de estreia de 2013 e a canção que iniciou seu resgate do purgatório como atriz da Nickelodeon. Sentada no topo da escada, no palco, cercada por seus dançarinos, ela estava agradecendo a multidão pelos ingressos esgotados, que estava gritando mais do que ouvindo, o que só a fez chorar mais.
Srta. Grande estava, provavelmente, relaxando no fato de que algumas coisas tinham ido um pouco diferente, ela ainda pode estar presa dentro daquele velho personagem da Nickelodeon, longe de palcos como esse. Miss. Great is not established enough to have a setlist bulletproof for a show of this size - sprinkled among the hits were incluindos failures as "Pink Champagne" and "All My Love". But it was made to reassure with a very keen sense of grandeur. She wears clothes cut aggressively that sparkle and shine, like a fashion version of figure skating competition. At one point she floated above the audience on a cloud; in another, she rode in an ornate chandelier to the stage. In the middle of the show, the screen showed some scenes in black and white Miss. This did not cause tears in Miss. Great, although they have returned a few songs later, in "My Everything". Sitting on top of a white piano, Miss. Great seemed at ease until the words of the song began to escape it.
